Balandret
The hotel restaurant Balandret shows us the essence of Valencia, The light of Mediterranean sea, that light that Sorolla displayed so well in his paintings and that the interior designer Carlos Serra from “Mercader de Indias” has managed to capture in the restaurant lounge of this hotel Boutique and in each of its 21 rooms.
Description
Four large vertical sculptures with the image of the famous painting by the Valencian painter Sorolla “El Balandrito”, together with two impressive murals made up of more than a thousand “botijos”, turn the hall into a tribute to the Valencian culture.
Elements as rooted in our land as tiles, esparto, botijos, baskets to pick oranges or jars intermingle masterfully in the more than 400 m2 of the restaurant, creating different spaces.
